~An Important Message to our Clients, Families and Referral Sources~
As you may have read in the newspaper a couple of months ago, The Giving Tree will be merging with our neighbor, Firelands Regional Medical Center Counseling and Recovery Services. Firelands, like The Giving Tree, is a behavioral health agency with over 25 years’ experience providing mental health and drug alcohol services to persons of all ages in a seven county region including Ottawa County. Over the next six months you will begin to see a few changes such as signs and forms with the Firelands Regional Medical Center logo.
How will this affect your care? The good news is you will continue to receive the same, quality care you have always received and you can continue services at the same locations!
Please note any bills you receive for services provided through June 30, 2014 will be from The Giving Tree. Beginning July 1, 2014 services will be billed to you from Firelands Counseling and Recovery Services.
If you have any questions, our staff will be happy to answer them and will make every effort to help you feel as comfortable as possible during this transition. Thank you for choosing us for your treatment needs!
